The macawiis has been worn for generations — but never quite like this. We took the traditional silhouette our fathers and grandfathers wore and rebuilt it from the inside out: reinforced side pockets where there were none, a heavyweight cotton that holds its drape instead of clinging or creasing, and a side slit that lets you walk, sit, and move without ever fighting the fabric.

The border pattern is hand-referenced from traditional East African weaving — bold diamonds, fine detail work, finished in a deep red that doesn't fade into the background. Paired with a black adjustable drawstring waist for a fit that's genuinely yours, not one-size-guessed.

This isn't a costume piece or a beach throw-on. It's built for everyday wear — comfortable enough for home, sharp enough for the street, and finished with the kind of material quality that rewards a closer look.
